The following are synopses of screenplays that we are developing currently.

Another Harvest Moon

(written by Jeremy T. Black)

In a nursing home in middle America, four elderly friends gather each morning for a game of cards. They have become a family to one another, offering unyielding support, constant bickering and strong opinions about life, death and everything in between. One morning Frank reveals to Ella that he can no longer remember his wife's face and that he doesn't want to live to endure another debilitating stroke.

This revelation sets off a struggle between Ella and the ever-optimistic Alice as they both try to affect Frank's decision while privately dealing with their own fears.

The Gordons at the End of the World

(written by Greg Swartz and Jeremy T. Black)

Nothing -- not even a nuclear disaster -- is going to stop Judith and Bill Gordon's 20th anniversary party. This coal-black comedy about the panic surrounding the Three Mile Island nuclear crisis in Pennsylvania is set amongst the actual events of the March 1979 accident. The story follows one family as they go... well... nowhere. Their small town is nearly empty, but the Gordons can't evacuate because Bill is an engineer at the plant. Determined to keep life functioning normally, Bill's wife Judith insists that "the Gordons stick together."

Enid-11

(written by Greg Swartz and Jeremy T. Black)

It's 1979 and America's Steel Belt is quickly rusting. But times are good for bars and drug dealers. Georgia Whitman is almost out... just a few more weeks. Amidst the decay, Georgia meets Enid, an 11-year-old orphan, struggling to survive her abusive brother. Reluctantly, Georgia looks out for the little girl when she's not planning her move to California. A bond develops between the two and Georgia soon finds herself wondering if she'll be able to leave Enid behind.
